Starting point

Dysregulation

Two documented journeys that began with a child who was often overwhelmed, reactive, or hard to settle. Each entry below is dated and recorded in the family's own words.

Journey One

    Journey Two

      Before & After

A daughter in constant flare — then the dysregulation was gone.

Straight from our coaching messages with Edita, from the first consultation in March to a July session. Nothing edited.

      Documented with Edita's family

Before — shouting, banging, no rest

      March 16 · consultation
She's at the moment in a massive flare. Shouting and screaming. We have a lot of lesions on her body.
Edita's consultation note: she's in a massive flare
      March 16 · consultation
She's nervous, she's stressed, she's panicking, she shouts and screams. She's banging her head, going on the floor, dysregulated, not knowing what to do with herself.
Edita: she's panicking, banging her head, dysregulated
      March 16 · consultation
Bedtime is very, very difficult — the repetitive behaviour, banging the doors. She comes back home very stressed and shouting. We can't control her.
Edita: bedtime is very difficult, banging the doors

      After — calm, settled, regulated

March 29 · day one on the full protocol
Usually she would spend the whole day shouting, crying and pulling at herself — today was completely different. No meltdowns, no shouting. She was just calm.
Edita on March 29th: first day on the full protocol, she was just calm
      April 15
She has been very calm all day. I haven't seen her this calm in a long time. She is more regulated.
Edita on April 15th: she has been very calm all day
      April 22
No more hair pulling, less stress and fewer panic reactions. Today, no crying or screaming at all.
Edita on April 22nd: no more hair pulling, no crying or screaming
      May 3
As her inflammation has gone down, we've seen really good improvements. Now she has much better eye contact, listens more, and is more open to communication.
Edita on May 3rd: better eye contact, more open to communication
      May 13
Massive daily tics, swelling in her feet, crawling instead of walking — all of those symptoms are now gone.
Edita on May 13th: all of those symptoms are now gone
      July 5 · coaching session
All the inflammation, pulling, dragging and shouting have completely disappeared. The dysregulation she used to have is gone, and now she is fine.
Edita in a July coaching session: the dysregulation is gone
      July 6
In the beginning it was a nightmare, but now it feels like a little bit of heaven is coming. There is much more peace in our home.
